If someone can please help me out, I have been driven mad by this the past few weeks. It seems to have started right around the latest windows update, which was about 2-3 weeks.

Two instances, I am not even sure what to call the application that isn't loading. Eeverything els eon the page will load, except certain data. I have updated everything I possibly could. I have a paid version of Norton (which isnt the end all, I know) I have ran malwarebytes. I have done disk-cleanups re-installed Chrome a number of times. This happens both on Chrome and IE. Could it be a problem with Flash?  To compound things further I tried to download Firefox and it loaded DJ Mixi onto my computer which made things even worse, but using the software from this site it seems to be cleaned up.  The problem existed before this however.  The one thing that fixed it for a day was clearing out all my cookies.  It was quickly back to not loading though. I certainly do not wish to clear out cookies on a daily basis either.

Basically what happens is I see a circle going around, clockwise. As you can see by my avatar.  Another instance, if I go to NJ.com and click sign in there is normally a screen that will pop up, while the rest of the page darkens to enter login info.  Even on this site, when I click on setting it displays the lower portion as being blank, then if I highlight the page....left clicking and dragging the data shows. up

Thanks so much and this is driving me crazy.

I apologize for the vagueness, but I do not know what to call it...and I hope I posted this in the right forum

Download MiniToolBox and run the program. Select
List Last 10 Event Viewers, List Installed Programs and List Users, Partitions and Memory Size then click Go.
A notepad will open then copy-paste the report on your next reply.

Download SecurityCheck.exe from Here

. Run SecurityCheck and follow the instruction from inside the code box.
. When the scan is finished, a notepad will automatically open as check.txt
Please copy and paste the contents here on your next reply.

See Google Chrome Content Settings on images for more information. For Internet Explorer, disable hardware accelerated graphics on IE Tools menu - Internet Options - Advanced tab - uncheck the first box for the GPU rendering or see this link.  Please post the computer brand and model next time. There is an application error referring to your NVIDIA driver. See if reinstalling or looking for the updated version/patch would cease this error.

Try downloading Speccy and then install the program.  To post and publish a snapshot of your PC.
. In the Menu bar, click File -> Publish Snapshot
. Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard
. On your next reply, right-click on a empty space and click Paste on reply box then click Post.

Try clearing your cache files : Free Ccleaner Ignore the Registry feature of Ccleaner as it is not recommended or needed.
Remove Adware : http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

Double click on Adwcleaner and hit the Delete button. Copy/paste the result on your next reply.

So, the comp is an HP e9280t.

I cleared up the graphics driver a few days ago...no problems since.

Google chrome, changing those settings had no effect.

The box for IE was already Unchecked.

I downloaded Speccy, it wouldn't copy to my clipboard.  I can post the link or cut and paste the link info, although it is quite lengthy.

Ran cclceaner....it cleared out some stuff including my cookies...no luck.

Try disabling your Norton Protection software features (realtime and firewall) then check again the images loading problem. If you keep a Norton Installer Cd or exe file, it would be better to remove it using the Norton Removal Tool for a better result.

Just out of curiousity did you receive Error connecting to publishing server for Speccy?

It is up to jhayz to say if you should paste the text of the Speccy report. IF he says to paste it there is one thing you need to do before posting.

Look under Operating System and find Serial Number.  Delete that number-it is your Windows key and should not be posted in public.

Had you been able to post the link it would not show the key.

jHayz...no dice....I disabled everything under real time and disabled "smart firewall" Same results, which is nothing.

@queen....thank you for the heads up on that. I did not get an error, I clicked the bar and nothing popped up or happened. I even tried going to paste, but the file was not populated.

FYI, I really feel like this started happening after the last windows update. Mind you, this all happens on chrome, IE and inside AOL...not sure if that browser is netscape. There are varying levels depending on which browser I use and when. For instance, yesterday I was able to click on the sign in on NJ.com today I click it and nothing happens.

What Video card model/brand do you use with your desktop? Is it the card that came with it? If yes, the driver is here. Try using Incognito mode in google chrome. Firefox and Opera browsers are also highly used and can be an alternative while your still having this problem on your current browsers.

I updated the driver, it now has no errors. I cleaned out Chrome with Revo. I went back to IE9 (uninstalled IE10) It is funny though, i was not able to d/l revo through IE or Chrome, had to use netscape inside AOL to get the file...why wouldnt it pop up in IE?

If I do an HP system recovery, will I lose MS office and my outlook data, and norton?  I can move any other files over to an external hard drive.

I am seriously lost here...it is driving me crazy.

Any suggestions what it might be?  Should I uninstall norton?  Can i uninstall a windows update?

Where is your download folder location for these browsers? Have you tried creating another folder instead? I don't use the standard user profile folder on most occasions.

Yes. They have to be reinstalled so make sure you keep a backup of your saved documents and CDs or installers.

Since happens on 2 browsers (chrome and IE), try Firefox and Opera and check the difference. You can remove an update from the Control Panel - Windows Update - View Installed Updates. To review and check for details of installed windows update, go to View update history and right click the update name - View Details.

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

http://www.opera.com/computer/windows

1. If nothing happens, try performing clean boot

2. Since your also weighing on a complete system recovery, can you try removing Norton completely using the removal tool? and all instances of Flash player then check on the difference? At this point I am out of suggestion also.

Thank you..give me a day on this....but kindly check back.  Just need to back up my stuff and I certainly do not want to lose Norton if I delete...I am assuming the KEY/ID will pick up where I took off.

I downloaded firefox and it put that stupid DK Mixi or whatever it is called all throughout my computer...terrible malware.

Oh, as for Revo. The window wouldnt pop up. I am having problems with windows popping up. If i go to sign in to something or d/l something.

Lastly, my main concern is MS office and my work data that is on there.  I know it can be backed up, but it is not glitch free.

thanks again for all your help.

There is no need to worry if you loose Norton as there are free antiviruses that can replace it.

I downloaded firefox and it put that stupid DK Mixi or whatever it is called all throughout my computer...terrible malware.

Don't recall any DK Mixi that comes with any FF installer? Did you go to the FF download link? Let's try using some scanning applications.

Scan for Malware using free Malwarebytes
Install then run a quick scan only after updating to the latest definition. Copy and Paste the result.

Download JRT by thisisu http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/
Make sure to disable your antivirus or any running protection softwares before running JRT to avoid interferences.
For Vista and Windows 7, right-click and Run as Administrator. In XP, double click JRT icon.
Please be patient and let the program finish scanning.
Once finish, a text document will open then copy-paste it on your next reply.

ESET online scanner

Run ESET online scanner
Download esetsmartinstaller_enu.exe and save it to your desktop
Follow the instructions and Leave the check mark next to .Remove found threats and place a check next to Scan archives
> Hit Start and ESET will begin to install, update and scan your computer.
> After scanning completes, click List of found threats.
> Click Export to text file and save the file to your desktop and name it Escanlog.
> Click Back button then Finish.
Please Copy/Paste the report on your next reply.
