Hello everyone!  This forum has been very valuable to me in the past; I'm hoping someone can help me.
I have Windows XP Home Version (32-bit, whatever that means).  For a few weeks now, I've noticed that my computer freezes occasionally or the browser has trouble responding.  I downloaded Google Chrome but could never actually pull up a page on it.  I thought that was wierd.  But what alerted me to the problem was a scan by Microsoft Security Essentials that told me I had Trojan:DOS/Rovnix.D and recommended I quarantine it.  However, I couldn't find a way to quarantine it.  I did a few searches for instructions to get rid of it, but the searches they had me do were confusing.  I couldn't actually tell if it had done anything, since it doesn't always freeze or act wierd.  The only way I'm sure I still have it is by doing the Security Essentials scan again.  I know I need to get rid of it, because it's a dangerous trojan.
Any ideas for me?  And can you use small words? lol

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal
