Hi forum,

I want to try using WP8.  But before I go first, I also want to try it by WP8 emulator.  I find that WP8 emulator/ SDK only be installed on win8, but not win7.  So, in this case, do I have other way to install a WP8 emulator on a win7 platform ?

Thanks for reply.

Windows Phone 8 emulator requires "hyper-V" which is only available in Windows 8 and Server 2012. So i don't think it is possible to install in Windows 7. My suggestion is to install the 90 day evaluation version of Windows 8 Enterprise as a second installation and try WP8.
