I'm running the 62-bit version of windows 7, but I'm using Chrome so i need the 32-bit version of Java. The problem is, is that it will not install. Every time I try and run the installation, it hangs at the very beginning before closing itself and giving me a "Installer was interrupted" error message. The 64-bit Java however downloads perfectly, except my 32-bit browser doesn't recognize it..

Thanks twin. Unfortunately, that didn't work either. Same thing happened, the installation bar doesn;t increase at all and after a few seconds the install closes.

Worth a read, IMO, http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/__wbAwgftMU .

Lots of useless comments but later a few report success in their efforts.
