Recently, i have purchased a new motherboard, MSI z77A-G45 and there was a problem detecting problem with WD 500GB SATA harddrive (WD5000AAKS) while the other drive Seagate and Samsung were successfully detected. When WD hard drive was connected, the system start, but it got stucked, and i could'nt even see a post screen message and cant get to the BIOS even if i press 'Del' key.

I have tried with other cables and connect only the WD hard drive, (unplugging the other drives) but the problem still exist. I tried changing the mode from IDE to AHCI and its still not working.

Please help

How about running the long diagnostic...on the hard drive in question?
