Here is what I want to do:

Safe mode isn't working (reg keys are deleted), and computer won't boot normally...

Is it possible to import reg fix to restore safe boot keys through recovery console...

Hi

How reg keys got deleted ?. I guess through a virus attack.

You cant import safe boot key using recovery console but you can use either UBCD4WIN or a live PE3 disk to do this. Windows 7 Installation DVD or system repair disc can also be used for this. If you are interested, i will post a detailed how to after i get in to home.

I posted the topic in XP section ;)

Recovery console is only option, I don't want to use live systems...

So far i don't know a method to edit registry from XP recovery console. Since the recovery console is a limited environment i don't think  that is possible at all.

I've been searching exactly as you did, but it appears that Windows XP registry couldn't be edited through recovery console...

Windows 7 supports registry editing...
