A quick question. I see that update kb 2823324 was installed on 4/11. I also see that the MS update that was suppose to fix this, kb 2840149 was installed on 4/25. Is it necessary to unistall kb2823324?

My wife tried to access youtube tyhis evening and we got the BCC 116 Blue screen.

As a safety precuation it is better to uninstall that patch before installing KB2840149. So far there is no  BSOD are reported with KB2840149. Since you are getting BSOD when accessing internet, i don't thing it is caused by that patch. Uninstall the video driver and update to the latest version. Also update the flash player to the latest.
