I'm having a couple problems, got the google redirect virus and some kinda C:\Users...sbheefy\wow.dll error that pops up when I right click on documents on my computer. Also my computer closed all my open programs and restarted on its own a couple times, random times separate days.

For the redirect virus I've tried many things, spent many hours over the last two days trying everything I could find, nothing seems to get rid of it.

Help please?

As soon as I got home from work I checked this and as soon as I was about to download the first link my computer rebooted on its own and it blocked everything on IE, couldn't get to any sites. So I did this in safe mode, hope that's ok.

Ok...

1. MSE uninstalled & reinstalled.

2. Java update removed, didn't see any Live search toolbar in there, might it have an odd name?

3. Java updated

4. Adobe updated.

?: I had my external hard drive attached to my computer when I noticed the virus, would it attack that and if that's infected will it reinfect my computer if I attach it?

You should analyze your hard disk with a long scan

Scanned the harddrive with those and they didn't find anything. So what else to do about the redirect virus?

It's still redirecting though. And the sbheefy.wow.dll error is still coming up.
