So I've seen where this is a malacious program.  I've read it reports your search habits, putting your privacy at risk.  I'm at my mom's trying to fix her computer (AGAIN) and I can't get rid of this.  It isn't a toolbar, but the search engine.  Whenever I do a search for something, it comes back with results from MyWebSearch, and I can't remove it.  There are no files on my computer for it, I don't see any options under Tools in Firefox to change it.  I've ran Spybot, Malwarebytes, and Spyware Terminator, and none of them are finding anything.  Any ideas on how to fix this issue??  I've included a photo to show exactly what I'm talking about.

Did you try to reset Firefox ?

How to restore Firefox:

1. At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button, go over to the Help sub-menu
and select Troubleshooting Information.

2. Click the Reset Firefox button in the upper-right corner of the Troubleshooting Information page.

3. To continue, click Reset Firefox in the confirmation window that opens.

4. Firefox will close and be reset. When it's done, a window will list the information that was imported. Click Finish and Firefox will open.

The option to reset isn't there. I know what you are talking about, but the reset window isn't there.

You probably have an older version of Firefox.

Please uninstall it from the control panel and install the latest version :

Brainfart.  I did have the current version, but just never thought about uninstalling and reinstalling.  Did that, problem solved.  Thank you!
