I am just about sure I have a hacker ...see the ip 0.0.0. on remote port 0 and show processes just as system PID4 all trying to get in, pne wmpnetwk.exe?   Have had computer turn on and see error logs active when I was not on the internet.

HELP I have surgery on the 17 and have to have this fixed.

Hope I am wrong.

Hello Christine -

Re : wmpnetwk.exe

That is the windows media player network driver.  If you have music streaming from machine to machine you need it.

If this solves your problem, then there is nothing else to worry about.

If you have further questions, please continue to add them here -

Thank You -

Extra - To disable (not remove) this, here are the directions -

Hit the windows key, (the one between your ctrl and alt) +R
TYPE : services.msc Hit OK or ENTER -
Double click Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service and hit stop

Then set it to disabled where it says automatic (delayed start)
Hit OK.
Hope it works btw forget about upnp music sharing and listening and all those expensive things :guitar:

Regards -
