About a week ago I noticed my computer acting funny after an automatic update had been done.  Then it started becoming worse and more obvious so I did a few scans with Malwarbytes (quick and full) and it showed 3 infections but were quarantined.  Computer seemed fine, but then later started acting weird again.  Ran the scan again, showed nothing.  But my computer was acting weird whenever I tried to go online.  Did a system restore, seemed to fix the problem.

Except that each morning whenever I get back on my computer, I see that it's been shut down and restarted (like it does whenever it's had an update).  And the same weird problems getting online happen again.  Each time I do a system restore it fixes it.

But now I cannot log into the company database.  I am able to connect to the VPN, but can't access the database.

Do I have a virus?  What can I do to fix my computer?

I just found out that it was a problem on the company's end as to why I couldn't get thru the VPN.

If I still need to do something about the other part, let me know.

Thanks!
