Not sure if this is the right place... but I was reading up on microsoft exchange server.

What I want to know is that if I have this running on a windows server 2003 machine would this mean that I would be able to run my own e-mails...

I think I would have to get a Domain Name to get the .com at the end. But if I were to be rich someday and sheel out the money would this mean that I could run an e-mail host for me and my friends kinda thing...

It sure does.

Not that I would be bright enough to walk you through it or anything, but you definitely could create your own email domain.
