about a month ago my computer started acting oddly in my outlook emails section. EVERYTHING takes forever. It gets there, but stalls... showing me the sand counter .. whatever you call the pending action If I try and move too fast it ghosts out (screen goes pale)

It shuts down and I have to reopen outlook - and it takes 30 minutes minimum

OUCH and help!

Did you try uninstalling Outlook/Office (if part of Office suite installed)...then reinstalling?

You have observed no other system anomalies, other than Outlook, your email client?

Why do you keep mentioning "virus"?

Everything that goes wrong with a system...is not due to malware.

Have you run a virus scan and detected malware on your system?  Have you seen any popups indicating that your system is infected?

Well Louis- I am a sales chick that does her best. I am not a IT person

If I have offended you with my apparent ignorance, let me apologize.

How about I just say ............. WTF is up with my Outlook people? It never sucked before .... and now it sucks BAD

Now it won't do crap without taking a break to consider whether it wants to or not.

I have zero idea what is wrong with it....

I am beside myself

I don't even know what to ask,.

Is Outlook installed as part of MS Office?

Or is it a standalone install?

Just to clarify...you are not referring to Outlook Express, correct?
