Hi all, I've done multiple internet searches and haven't found a solution that matches my exact problem yet so here I am. I recently shut down changed ram, and when I rebooted, after logging into windows, the computer seems to freeze and then go to bsod. I changed the ram back to the original sticks, and the problem still occurs. The error reads as follows:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA

STOP: 0x00000050 (0xA8FD7718, 0x00000000, 0xA8ECE308, 0x00000000)

bcmwlhigh5.sys - address A8ECE308 base at A8E9B0000 datestamp 4d912644

I can boot into safe mode, and I've tried running diagnostic utilities but with no luck.

What's causing this problem?

Thanks,

Ed

The error points to your Broadcom Wireless Adapter. Try uninstalling the driver and updating to the latest version. Also, check for updated chipset drivers and a bios flash.

I tried it, but no success. I finally tried a system restore to about 9 days ago and it seems to be functioning fine again. Thanks for your help.
