In my StartUp list under Context Menu I note two entries for SugarSync, one as a File Key and the other as a Directory Key.

 

I have googled SugarSync and find that it is a cloud storage system but I cannot recall ever trying to download this. Nor does it appear on my Programs List and when I type it into Search nothing appears.

 

Is there some way of completely removing these entries?

Do you see it in your Uninstall programs list in the control panel?

No, it does not appear in the Uninstall list.

It was probably installed with something else, but does not appear malicious. I suggest you install it again and then perform an uninstall using these instructions:
