Is it safe to change the ram frequency of my lenovo t420 i5 having ddr3, single channel ,FSB DRAm of 1:5 and my cpu is 2.50 GHz? It shows that it is running only with 664.MHz dram frequency. I am thinking if i can change it to 1600 MHz frequency...any help?

What he said + your 1,600MHz RAM may have been (automatically) down-clocked to run at 1333MHz. Also, I wouldn't bother trying to change the FSB, CPU ratios or the RAM speed because I don't think you will realize any real-world benefit from doing so.
