I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image. ~Stephen Hawking

At least now one memory from my childhood can be restored and not be dependent on historical documents or images.

How are they scabs? These are completely new owners who legally bought the assets of Hostess who legally sold them? If it was Hostess bringing in new workers thats one thing. Owning a name and rights to use it makes this a clean slate IMHO. There was no obligation placed on the sale by Hostess to use union workers. The union is the one who made the burden too great to continue to operate and ultimately shut down and force the sale.

Never had any. Are they really that good? Are they worth travelling through a world overrun by zombies?

A world overrun by zombies will never stand in the way of gluttons and their twinkies...

Imagine the last gram of coke in the world... then make the bidding legal.
