Have downloaded and run MalwareBytyes AntiVirus with negative results. What do I do now? In addition Security system won't let me change anything. It is being controlled by McAfee. Sometimes Windows firewall is off without my permission.

I don't understand the question. Is there a difference? The icon on my task bar and desk top is called Google Chrome. When I open, the tab is called igoogle. If I go to "Google Accounts" it asks me to sign in to Chrome. When I go to click on tools it IDs itself as igoggle tools.

When I open the URL reads "google.com/ig?brand=LEND&bmod=LEND"

When I first signed up it was to plain Google which supposedly went away in Nov and was replaced by Chrome Google. I thought perhaps it was confused. Uninstalled and then reloaded. No change.

ICON Google Chrome Properties says "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

Does this help? Is there other info I need to provide? I sure appreciate you.

Delores
