Hello and thank you for reading this;

I received a SystemCare infection while using Mozilla Firefox on Windows 7 after clicking a harmless looking link. The SystemCare with the red interface and the striped shield started giving me the false virus information. I rebooted to SafeMode, ran SpyBot S&D 2 and cleaned the results. After this, I went back into Normal Mode and realized that certain services were no longer functioning; I could not start Windows Firewall or Windows Defender in Services even after trying certain registry edit suggestions in the Microsoft Windows forum. I was suspicious that something may not have been fully removed so I downloaded the MalwareBytes trial and it seemed to have located a number of items that either 1) SpyBot SD 2 did not find OR 2) they reoccurred. Some of these items were however located in the Recycle Bin.  I already downloaded and ran the dds.com tool. I am simply not sure that I got rid of the virus completely. I appreciate any help. Thank you very much for your time.
