I am trying to remove System Care Antivirus.

I can reboot my computer in Safe Mode but cannot reboot to Safe Mode with networking.

I can download and transfer the RKill tool and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware files to flash drive

to run them in Safe Mode, but I cannot update the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware virus definitions

needed to completely remove the System Care Antivirus files.

When I reboot the computer in normal mode the System Care Antivirus replicates itself.

and it prevents the RKill tool and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from running.

I have thought of installing the RKill tool and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware onto a different

computer and then moving my hard drive to that computer and using that computer to

clean the virus.

Will this work or am I risking infecting the second computer as well?

Hi,

download Malwarebytes Chameleon: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/chameleon/ and run it.

Hi -

Please read Preparation Guide and post a new topic in Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs
This infection, although basically a Rouge Infection,  this particular variant is also known to be installed with the ZeroAccess rootkit, which makes it harder to remove and clean your computer.
Please post to the Malware Removal Logs area even if you are unable to produce the requested logs, and an Expert will assist you with removal of the problem - Copy and paste This Link http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/492323/system-care-antivirus-removal-cannot-reboot-safemode-with-networking/#entry3031647 so the helper can read your original problem -

Thank You -
