System boots and about half of applications work.  Most are affected with comctl32.dll errors in that some programs can't find the dll.

Happens on bootup and in failure to start many applications.  On bootup the error is related to arcroread and iTunes helper.  Re-installing the applications does not solve the problem.  I've replaced the file in \windows\system32 and \windows\syswow64 with the version that was put up on the Malwarebytes forum with no change.  Seems like it might be broken registry link.
Applications affected:
Lynx Mixer  (Lynx TWO sound card)
Acourate LSR2 (Audio Vero)
Weather Bug
Crossword Compiler
Power DVD
DVD Cloner
@BIOS (Gigabyte BIOS updater)
GIMP 2.6
Google Earth
HD Tach
Highpoint RAID management software
Magic ISO
Paint Shop Pro 5
Plogue Biddle 32 bit
QV Link (image viewer)
Also most Adobe CS 5.5 applications won't work and give a msvcr90.dll error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Gigabyte P55UD3 board
Intel i7 860
Highpoint 3510 RAID card
2 Samsung 1TB drives in RAID 1
Nvidia 8400GS video card
Lynx TWO sound card

Sorry, forgot to add:

I restored 629 files from Malwarebytes quarrantine and also have run their batch file fix that they put up.

Hopefully, somebody here can help get this system running smoothly again without a re-install of the OS and my programs.

Hello -

As this is a program specific problem, these are the given links to follow > >

The General Malwarebytes forum will help you on line at their forum - Link is below -

From the support area as you seem to have the Pro version of the program > >

"We now have support webforms that the users can fill out which will be submitted directly to our support email addresses"

The link for consumer support may be found here:

The link for corporate support may be found here:

Please ask if you think we can offer better advice than the program developers who have now have almost solved this problem.

Thank You -
