How do I change icons in windows 8?

Like in windows 7 you could change icons for folders like control panel and etc how do I do this in windows 8?

Open explorer, right-click, select view, and make your selection.

Thats not what I meant lad, I meant how do I change the default icon from the system32 icons to my own icons

If by default you mean editing the %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll, then you'll need a resource hacker as the file is what it is, a systems library.
