I have an ASUS-PC running Windows 7 64-bit. I was using a program called DriverMax to update my drivers. Everything was going fine until I installed this thing called ASMedia XHCI Controller and as soon as it installed my wireless mouse and leyboard stopped functioning. I tried doing a system restore but it always gives me this error message saying it can't access a file because of an antivirus program. I use BitDefender so I disabled it and tried restore again and got the same error message. Thank The Matrix I have a touchscreen and on-screen keypad else I'd be completely stranded. Can anybody tell me what I did and how to fix it?

Please try removing/uninstalling the software completely. See if this thread regarding the controller would also help.
