I think I aready know the answer to this but I want to see everyones opinion. I have a Asus P67 motherbaord, Intel i5 2500k with 16Gb of ram. I have Windows 7 ultimate. That being said My copy of Windows I did get from a torrent but it says Genuine Copy. I got to microsofts page to download virtual PC and it wont let me It says this program is blocked because of compatibilty issues. Can anyone tell me if it is because my copy of Windows?

One other thing does Windows XP modehave to be installed in order to run Virtual PC or can you just install Virtual PC?

Of course it is. You can't download a legal copy of Windows from a torrent even if it says Genuine Copy. Do you expect it to say Phony Copy?

Ok so I have a legit copy of PRO now. I gives me the code to download it and when I go to install it, It tells me that the update is not applicable to your computer. I can run xp mode but it wont let me start another on using virtual PC please help!!!!
