Hi Everyone,

Today in the morning I booted up my Windows Vista 32 bit computer and when it came up to the desktop I saw a strange cmd window pop out for about 10 seconds and disappear. Apparently it was called chromeupdate.exe. It also showed the directory of where I could find the chromeupdate.exe in the title bar of the cmd window. So I navigated to said directory which was my temp folder. I found two objects in the temp folder that I found strange: one was chromeupdate.exe and another file with a long name. What was strange about them was that the date that they were created was 04/11/2013 at 3 AM in the morning. No one in my house was awake at 3 AM in the morning and my computer wasn't even on. I'm not sure how these 2 files were created when the computer was turned off. Anyway I scanned both objects with Avast and it said the files were clean. Not trusting what Avast said I manually deleted chromeupdate.exe and the other file. After that I restarted the computer and the chromeupdate.exe cmd window did not show up this time around. Still unsure about the safety of my computer I ran a full system scan using Avast, as well as Malwarebytes, and even Trend Micro House Call. They all said my computer is clean. What should I do now? I just want to make sure my computer is clean.

Thank you.
