Random failure of sound and computer has slowed down significantly

Hi, I'm running Windows 7 on a roughly 7 month old laptop. When I first got it, it ran great and then within about 4 months, it started getting really slow, and sound randomly dies on browsers unless I close and reopen the windows..  My friends suggested reinstalling Windows, but I would really like to not do that...I have ran malware scans with both Avast and Microsoft Security Essentials but those are not finding anything.  If on that basis alone, you decide to not look at the log, I can understand.

 

I have made sure all the drivers are up to date, made sure the fan is not dusty, and the other suggestion on how to speed up your computer page on this forum, but none of them have helped. Here is the DDS log

IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

1. Close any open browsers.
2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
3. Do not install any other programs until this if fixed.

Search and delete the AdWare, PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) installed on your computer.

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your Desktop.
  • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Delete tab follow the prompts.
  • A log file will automatically open after the scan has finished.
  • Please post the content of that log file with your next answer.
  • You can find the log file at C:\AdwCleaner[Rn].txt (n is a number).
Please paste the logs in your next reply DO NOT ATTACH THEM.
