This is my gaming computer built using Amd:

 

CPU: Amd FX 8350 vishera 4.0 GHZ

 

Motherboard: Sabortooth 990 FX Pro Amd 3+ or sabertooth 990 FX Gen3 R2.0 Amd 3+

 

Video Card: XFX double D Radeon HD 7870

 

Ram: Patriot Viper 3/ 8GB 4x8 240 pin SDRam DDR3 1866

 

 

Power Supply: Evga Super Nova Modular 750w or  XFX PI-750w

 

SSD:120GB

 

Mechanical: 1TB 

 

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i water cooler

 

Thank you for looking at my build, and feel free to put your opinion on my build. I know this isn't complete, but these are the major componets.

What do you plan to use this computer for?

You don't really need 32GB of memory as 16GB will suffice for most users, moreover, on most AMD builds, RAM of that speed is considered overclocked and the motherboard may downclock it until you set the RAM to a higher speed manually.  Are you planning on getting two GPU's?  If not, a lesser capacity power supply may be more cost efficient if you are concerned about price.

Killer525 and DJBPace07 I am using this computer for gaming and although 650 watts is all I need but I am planning on upgrading it later when needed and I do not want to buy a whole new power supply for that. Thank you for giving your opinion and trying to help me make this more cost efficent also. Thank you, Darkravege

I would choose the XFX power supply over the EVGA simply because of build quality and the Gen 3 Sabertooth has PCIe 3.0.
