Hi,

The forums are really busy, that explains why logs get behind. We start with the oldest logs first. If you still need some help, please start with posting a new hijackthislog in this thread. Don't start with a new thread.
Then I'll take a look.

Can you also tell me what your exact problem is?

(my computer is having major spyware and hijacking problems, so much so that I cannot access the internet. I have noticed that when I ctrl+alt+del there is about 5 programs opened called svhost; i try to end the tasks, but they reappear, and when I finally do close them all my comp says that something went wrong and my computer counts down 1:00 and restarts  . Another problem is that windows shows popups often saying that my registry is infected, and wants me to download a program that is only useful if I register it... These popups are not browser related, or so I think. I am still not sure what to do, please help if you can. )

Ok, to answer your questions... Actually there is nothing wrong here. These svchost.exe entries in taskmanager are legit and NOTHING wrong with that.
It is normal that more of them appear in your taskmanager.

Read more about svchost.exe here:
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben...14056&x=15&y=13

NEVER stop these. As you have noticed, your system reboots to recover.

The reason why you get these popups are mostly because I think the Messenger Services is enabled here since you don't have Service Pack 2 installed. In service Pack 2, this is standard disabled by default.

So perform next:

*Go to start >run and type: services.msc and click OK
Scroll down in that list until you find the service Messenger
Doubleclick on it. In the window that will appear, click on "Stop" (if not greyed out) and change the Startup Type to disabled.
Click apply and OK and close all open windows.

so much so that I cannot access the internet

If you cannot access the internet, how were you able to post this log here?
What error do you get when opening Internet explorer?
