reboots every 30 seconds

Hello everybody my laptop recently started doing this thing where once I start it.. it will reboot itself after 30seconds it started this 2 days ago.. i was watching a video on youtube and the screen started to glitch out a little bit so I turned it off and went to work I came home turned it on and booted up fine then rebooted itself every 30seconds or so... I went in safe mode and unchecked the box for the reboot if hardware malfunctioned but it still reboots after I'm trying to search for answers but all i have is my smartphone and I don't have access to another pc I own a hp pavalion

Does it happen to reboot also in safemode? Did you experience any previous thermal events or overheating prior? It's possible that there is a problem with the GPU chip or the onboard video of your laptop. One way to confirm if its a hardware or software problem is to reinstall the video driver then check on the difference.
