For GAMING purposes only which would be better the x4 640 or x6 1045t
Price is no issue

And no overclocking advises please.

the phenom II hands down. The athlon II quad core is not a gaming CPU, it was designed more for your home/office computers, not for gaming, the phenom line was more for the performance freaks. Add into that the 2 extra cores and larger cache size, the athlon II x4 640 doesn't even hold a feather to the x6 1045T
