Newly installed battery, When AC power is plugged-off the orange battery light starts blinking.
Asus N43 Battery remaining charge% and time is not updated.
The orange irritating light does not even stop when the laptop is properly shutdown. I have to detach the batter to make it stop.
When I put AC power back on then everything turns to normal, orange light disappears and Asus N43 battery charge is updated.
I have tried the 40 sec capacitor discharge trick, updated bios to f.20 and also uninstalled the battery drivers.
Nothing seems to work. I cannot know how much juice in the battery is left and have to plug it in quite often.
OS Windows 7 Ultimate Edition.
