< I need to do a reinstall on my Dell inspiron desktop since windows xp was deleted. >

Was this deliberate, or was this caused by any outside problem (infection, hardware failure, or similar).

Thank You -

It was an outside problem. I had another person help me in another forum on this site.. We went through a bunch of things and he said I needed to reformat and reinstall windows.

I have reviewed your previous topic in the BC Malware Removal Logs forum.

See data contained in topic at http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/software-os/f/3524/p/17725264/17848250.aspx .

If nothing else works, then I would contact Dell about the possibility of obtaining recovery disks.

Louis
