If a touchpad is not working, what would be the basic steps to follow? Tried function key, not working and how can I try other stuff if I could not move the cursor? Any help will be greatly appreciated. ^^

Can you post the complete laptop model/brand on your next reply? Basically you can use a USB mouse temporarily to overcome this problem.
