Hello all,

Basically, this went on with my last computer that I had as well, so I'm wondering if its a program I downloaded or a website I visited. Anyway, it happens rarely but it is a nuisance that I want to get rid of nonetheless. So basically what happens is it just randomly starts clicking for me. I control the cursor, but I will move the cursor and then it will click when I didn't click at all. What ensues is highlighting that I didn't want to highlight, or clicking things I didn't want to click, including the back button on the web. It will make the web page go back or forward when I didn't do either. Then it will also type in any type able box something that I had typed before. I wonder if this is spyware of some sort. I don't think it is a key logger because I have visited a few important sites and none of my records are in trouble or abnormal.

Thank you for all the help.

  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Reset IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • Reset FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Devices (Problem only)
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
Click Go and once the scan is completed a Result.txt Notepad document will open on your desktop
Please copy and paste the contents in your reply

Next -
Download Security Check by Screen317 from HERE and save it to your Desktop.

* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.
Note: If a security program requests permission to access the Internet, allow it to do so.

•The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
•Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

No report is produced, but be sure the computer is rebooted -

Thank You -

Hi -

Some quick observations from a look t that reoly -

First your Hosts file is removed or corrupted - M/soft has a FixIt for this -
http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9668866 < < Run this M/soft Fixit Program
Click Run and follow any onscreen directions - This will reset your Hosts File for you -

Please remove Bonjour (Version: 3.0.0.10) - ( I Tunes download mainly ) - You can reinstall later if you wish - Constant Application error.
Go > https://discussions.apple.com/message/20902168#20902168 > Scroll down to the answers given there -

Try this for The nvUpdatusService service was unable to log on as .\UpdatusUser with the currently configured password.
- Open Computer Management.
- Go to Local Users and Groups -> Users
- Doubleclick UpdatusUser
- Click Member Of tab
- Click Add
- Type Administrators then Check Names
- Click OK, OK
- Start Services.msc
- Scroll down to "NVIDIA Update Service Daemon"
- Click Start.
- If all went well you will see a popup saying: The NVIDIA Update Service Daemon service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.
Second Option for the same problem is > >
1) Start Services.msc
2) Scroll down to "NVIDIA Update Service Daemon"
3) Right-click it and select Properties
4) Click the Logon tab
5) Click the Log on as: Local System Account button ON
6) Click OK
7) Right click the "NVIDIA Update Service Daemon" and click Start
Hopefully it will Start then Stop.

Now check in Device Manager for any ( ! or ? ) signs beside any items -

Do you use any of the other language packs installed, as there is a  misread with Live Mesh ActiveX ?

An error has occurred (---Get Poicy Open key suc failed with 0, The Code is:0x422.).
This has been reported several times at Lenovo with Y480 and Y580 models, but I am still looking for the solution on it.

Go - Start > Programs > Accessories > Find Command Prompt > Right click and select Run sa Administrator > OK any UAC.
Type sfc /scannow and hit Enter - Note the space between c and / as it must be there.
This will take about 15 minutes to check installed files against default install -
Note: If SFC could not fix something, then run the command again to see if it may be able to the next time. Sometimes it may take running the sfc /scannow command 3 or more times to completely fix everything that it's able to.

You do not have Java installed. This is a preferred method > >
There are times when you need to Disable (not remove) your Antivirus for some downloads
Information on A/V control (temp disable) HERE if needed

Check your Java version here: http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp but I note nothing is installed -
Which Download should I choose? http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=75259 < Offline install.
Choose Save to Desktop and install it from there.
Choose the Offline download if you will be installing on a machine without an internet connection, or you are having problems with the Online install.
Instructions for Remove older versions of Java if installed -

What Antivirus / Blocking program is used by your school that prevents Security Check from installing ??

Thank You -
