Hello, and welcome to Bleeping Computer!

Please try to download and install this update manually: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=B23EFE7D-BCA4-4D49-9104-6AE39DC5DAA9

You would be surprised how often it fixes this error code.

If, however, it does not to worry:

Please download and install the System Update Readiness Tool from here: What is the System Update Readiness Tool?
Save the download somewhere convenient you can later find it as we may well need it again later. Save you a second download :)
Also be aware that the tool can take up to an hour (very occasionally even longer) to complete. Please be patient.
Once it has completed, copy to your Desktop, zip up (right click on it > Send to > Compressed (Zipped) folder, and upload C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log.

Thank you!

Richard
