Lately typing on my windows xp laptop is a mess, the cursor jumps around, it starts typing then tgoes back to the middle of the word before or randomly deletes words.

I found tidy network is on it but have not been able to remove

Linux runs fine on the same machine so I do not think it is a hardware issue.

I tried typing this in Windows xp first and had to reboot into Linux to add the words that got deleted. I am using Firefox 19 on the Windows xp side if that is helpful to know.

any help would be appreciatedt

mystal

Thank you again for your hard work helping me.

When I begin to type, I can only type a word or two before the it either randomly highlights and deletes letters, words or whole sentences. Sometimes it doesn't highlight, what I've typed simply disappears. Also it will jump back and stick what I am currently typing in the middle of a word many spaces back. It also simply stops typing even though I am diligently pressing the keys. It does this in both internet explorer and firefox. This is one of the weirder issues I've ever had on a computer - I can't even log in anywhere without multiple attempts. I am on linux at the moment but I'll boot windows up again and see if it does it in notepad. I don't think its an issue there though.

Let's try some more advanced help....

Please follow the instructions in THIS GUIDE starting at Step 6. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it HERE. Please include a description of your computer issues, what you have done to resolve them, and a link to this topic.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

It would be helpful if you post a note here once you have completed the steps in the guide and have started your topic in malware removal. Good luck and be patient.

If HelpBot replies to your topic, PLEASE follow Step One so it will report your topic to the team members.
