Hi experts,

I believe my computer has caught the AFP uKash virus which seems to be similar to FBI MoneyPak.

Can the the method mentioned in FBI Cybercrime Division Ransomware Removal Guide posted here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-fbi-cybercrime-division-ransomware completely remove it? If it can't, please offer me some help to remove this virus.

Here is a screenshot similar to what I get when I login - http://community.norton.com/t5/Tech-Outpos...sie/td-p/816018

Instruction from Norton to remove FBI Moneypak virus using Norton Power Eraser didn't work on my situation, the problem is that I can't even log in to safe mode with networking to download or run NPE.

 running windows 7.

I am suprised that Norton 360 couldn't even block this virus initially. Any help will be much appreciated~~

Restart the PC

Press F8 on bootup

Select REPAIR YOUR COMPUTER

Click on REPAIR

On the System Recovery Options menu you will get the following options:

Startup Repair
System Restore
Windows Complete PC Restore
Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool
Command Prompt

Can you get to this screen?

If yes, select system restore and try restoring to previous point and let me know if you can boot now
