Hi,

My windows 7 machine won't detect video hardware of any kind. For example no USB camera's, Firewire Camera, Roxia Game capture devices, Elegato Game Capture devices, and so on.

The software installs and they show up in device manager but for example the USB camera signal don't show up in any programs(Skype and so forth) and things like the game capture devices always indicate no signal to their connected software.

In my own terms its as if USB won't accept any video signals through it.

I have verified that nothing weird is going on in the settings of the bios and so forth. No other problems seem to exist on the system. But honestly I am just completely confused. I am assuming its some kind of registry corruption but I can't track it down.

Thanks all.
