Windows 8 admin

I've just begun looking at Windows 8 and would like to know the easiest way to change the main user account to a normal user and create an administrator account.  Too many people mess with my-father-in-law's PC and whenever there is a problem he asks me...you know the rest of the story.

so his acct is a  admin acct now ,why not just create a guest acct with restrictions and put a password on your father-in laws acct
