It happens randomly and suddenly, the keyboard AND mouse will just stop responding. The lights on the keyboard and mouse are still on, the computer is still running, the game is still running everything is working fine except the keyboard/mouse are not working. I have tried unplugging them and plugging them back in, in different ports and still they don't work. The only way to fix it is to restart the computer and then they work again. This seems to be happening more and more frequently with each occurrence.

I have tried installing the latest Bios and drivers, Using a different keyboard and mouse, reinstalling windows, running in safe mode and it still happens.

I have tried:

Using a Different Keyboard/Mouse
Updating Bios
Reinstalling Windows
Using different USB ports
Updating all other drivers
Unplugging everything and holding the power button for several seconds to release excess static build-up
Virus Scans

Power management.

None of this solves the problem.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10Ghz (4 CPUS), ~3.1Ghz

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6670

RAM: 4096MB RAM

Thanks.

I should have been more specific in my instructions.  After the report is finished highlight the content, (this can be done by placing the pointer anywhere in the text a click on it, press Ctrl and and the A key at the same time), copy and then paste the results in your next post.

In order to access the report the way you have posted it I would have to download and open a document which I have no idea what the real contents are.

It looks like you may have a problem with your user profile.  Use the link below to see what Microsoft suggests.

You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error message
