Are you trying to install Windows on your system and getting stuck at the enter key stage?

Are you using the computer you want to use the key on? If you are you can try Belarc Advisor. Among the things it reports are product keys, including the one for Windows.

Key given in belarc advisor may not match with product key in worn out COA sticker. In that case only option is to call microsoft and explain them as allan suggested.

Good point, narenxp. I've never had any trouble with getting it from Belarc but that doesn't mean it will work for everyone.
