Windows Essentials crashing even after removal and reinstall

I currently have Windows Essentials (Movie Maker, Photo gallery) continually crashing. I have uninstalled it and re-installed it, but it continues. I also noticed the same thing with IE, but it seems to have cleared that problem with an upgrade to IE10.


I also now have the same problem with FireFox - it continually crashes when I try to run it too!
