Hello everyone,

It is time for me to get a new computer (actually, I got the wife's permission). I am going to build it from separately ordered parts and I would like to stay around $1000 if possible.

It will be used for Word documents, basic Internet cruising and light gaming and I would like it to have built-in WiFi capability if possible.

I found these posts with suggestions for builds both by @DJBPace07:

Build 1

Build 2

I'd love to hear suggested builds or comments about these so I can pick a build.

Thanks,

-HydroLar

Build 1 is better because of the graphics card but also don't forget to add a wifi network card like this into the system, so you can use a wifi connection.
