Foer some reason or other my daughter's computer started showing the wrong date , so I went into Date andTime Properties>>>Date and Time tab and the box for the month showed the numer 7, not the month. When I clicked on the drop down menu it showed a list of twelve 7s and not the actual months .

I thought it might be the battery on the motherboard so I replaced the battery with a new one. No change.

Any ideas please.

Did you reset the BIOS clock, date & time, after you replaced the battery?

Did you save the changed BIOS settings by hitting F10?

System manufacturer and model?

The clock was incorrect so I reset and I reset the date although in BIOS it was correct. I used F10 to change the settings.
