got infected wiht otshot.  deleted it from uninstall, deleted shortcuts, reboot and shortcut is back, but not in uninstall programs.  i cant get rid of it.  can anyone help.

I've pretty much used every method I know for deleting this puppy.  The only indicator of this program left on my computer is in my Program Files under a folder called Otshot.  I've deleted everything in this folder, but the icon with the heart.  When I click on delete, it says "this action can't be completed because the file is open in Otshot.  Close the file and try again."

 

But it does not exist anywhere else on my computer.  Help.

If the malware is recent a system restore using a restore point prior to the infection will probably work.

 

There are two programs designed to remove this type of crapware. Links below.

If those programs or a system restore hasn't completely removed the crapware, post the logs

for the programs back here.
