I don't know if this is the right forum for this question but for some reason my disk drive, m drive????, does not work. I put a cd in and the little blinking light goes from green to orange but keeps blinking. i try to start the program on the disc and the computer says the drive is not accessible or something. I don't know what is going on. Can someone please help?
The computer is a windows 98.
The CD-ROM is HP CD-Writer+ 8000

1,check out the bois to confirm whether the CD ROM was disable

Try a lens cleaner. Sometimes a squirt of canned air will clean the len.

And if all of the above doesn't work, the drive could be shot.
