Hi there,

I recently bought a new laptop and have had issues staying connected on my home network. I seem to loose the connection every 10 minutes or so.  No other devices in the network are affected - desktop, laptops, ipad, iphone, etc...

Each time, Windows troubleshooting resets the adapter and re-connects.

Here is the information requested from the pinned topic:

Samsung Series 5 laptop

WiFi

Westell A90-750022-07 router

10'-20' from router

Dsl connection

Hi jshart

Can you try closely moving the laptop where there is no possible interferences just to confirm its not affected by distance/interference? Try removing your Wireless Network Profile of your home network SSID then manually connect.

Thanks for your help!  I can absolutely move closer.  But I will need some help in removing the Profile.

In moving closer I have not seen any difference in behavior.  I have also turned off my other devices for the time being.

One thing that has changed....  In reading a bunch of suggestions both her and on other forums, I reset my router (little button I needed a pencil tip to get to), and that seemed to solve the issue, but only for a few hours.

If this is a router issue - I am more than happy to start over with my network.  I do plan on switching a few computers around, removing one and would certainly like a fresh start if that would help.

The Nework and Sharing Center then Manage Wireless network contains all your previous wireless connections including your home SSID network. Just right-click the Home SSID then choose Delete. Try manually connecting again on available networks preferably your home network SSID then check the difference. Also, try reinstalling your network adapter and or much better an updated version if available in your laptop support site. If nothing happens, please post the complete Samsung laptop model next time.
