i dont play games that much and if i do i only play games like warcraft, i use my laptop to do video editing and photo editing preferably adobe cs6

i have my laptop msi cx61 and im pretty much contented with it.

heres its specs
3630QM(2.40GHz)CPU
GPU/VPUNVIDIA GeForce GT 645M
16gb ram

so what i wanted to know is that whats the cpu and vcard equivalent of those in desktop so that i wont be wasting money that power alone is enough and so if i can find something similar on desktop it would be great.

i have my 256gb crucial ssd i use this on my laptop and im definitely sure i can use this on my desktop.

the reason why id like to have a desktop equivalent of it is that desktop is more powerful and more cheaper.

The 645M is slightly slower than the HD4850 and the 3630QM is roughly about the performance of a i5-3330.
