Hi all
Hope someone can help with a couple of of problems I have:
1: Everytime I boot up I get: "error loading EGCOMSERVICE_1051-dll.The specified module could not be found"
2: Everytime I go to Control panel, I get "Unable to load language resources".
Would appreciate any info to rid me of these problems.
Cheers Vomog.

It appears you may have a trojan. See the following link on how to remove the trojan.

Hi vomog.

1: Everytime I boot up I get: "error loading EGCOMSERVICE_1051-dll.The specified module could not be found"

What little i could find on that error points to a trojan infection. Run multiple on line virus scans if your current anti-virus program missed it. There's some choices here

2: Everytime I go to Control panel, I get "Unable to load language resources".

Before you deal with this error, get your system virus free first. When it's all cleaned up and the problem remains, see the article below if your system uses an ATI video card:

Error Message When You Attempt to Open Control Panel: Unable to Load Language Resources

EDIT: OOps, looks like acklan beat me too it.

Here are two web based scans particularly designed for the detection of Trojans. You must use Internet Explorer to run these as they require Active X:

Sygate Trojanscan

Windows Security Trojanscan
http://windowsecurity.com/trojanscan
See instructions for it here:

Hi All
Thanks for all your help. Got rid of the "Language resources prob" But even though I've been through the registry and deleted every file connected with the Trojan, it still pops up every time I boot up. Should I still worry about it, even though I know the files are not there?
Cheers Vomog
