I am using a wireless modem/router...it's a NetGear MBR1210 from Bell Canada.  I do some online gaming.  The server we are using for this gaming is using a protocol that required me to have ports opened.  My IP would not unblock on their end.   So I got a Private Static IP and all is well.  The problem is in 10 days I have used 15GB of data.   Since I have been playing the same game all along I have never used that much bandwidth.

So my question is this.   Is there any way a virus or hacker can be using my IP address and running up my bill?  I don't see any traffic on my end while connected to the net.  So anything going on would be external.

So what do you think?
